MAKELAARSVERENIGING AMSTERDAM (MVA) is the professional body of real estate agents in the Amsterdam area. More than 420 real estate agents, working in Amsterdam, Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Badhoevedorp, Diemen, Landsmeer, Ouderkerk a/d Amstel, Uithoorn, Waterland, de Zaanstreek and Zwanenburg, have joined us.
Although the MVA was already founded in 1877 we are a modern, up-to-date organization. Since January 1, 1984 we form part of the Nederlandse Vereniging van Makelaars o.g. (Dutch Association of Real Estate Agents) and hence all our members are also a member of the NVM. Besides promoting the interests of the real estate agents associated with us we also provide them systematically with all relevant information about developments in the real estate industry.
We not only offer them extra training in the form of practice-directed seminars but we also provide them on request with information from the land registry, extracts from trade registers, information from the municipal housing card indexes and all this via the dataline connections we have with said sources.
Of course also the "public" can turn to us. If you want to know for instance which real estate agents are a member of our organization, which ones specialize in leasehold valuations, property valuations, rented accommodation etc. we will send you the appropriate membership lists. We will also be happy to send you informative brochures such as “NVM Terms and Conditions for 2000’, “The path to a successful partnership, you and your NVM estate agent”, and “NVM real estate, information for customers”. You will also find the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all the estate agents on our website. You can click to those who have their own site. But you may moreover ask us all your questions about the real estate and brokerage industry.
